IBPS Clerk Notification 2024: eligibility criteria

Candidate must be either a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1 January 1962, to permanently settle in India or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma Sri Lanka is African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Public of Tanzania. Candidate belonging to this category shall be a person in whose favour or a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the government of India and the name assigned in favour of the candidate.

Minimum age: 20 years Maximum age: 28 years

Candidates have to qualify by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. An adequate number of candidates in each category is decided by IBPS, and depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for the online main examination.

IBPS Clerk Notification 2024: Marks Scheme

There will be a penalty for a wrong answer mark in the objective test for each question or for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 for the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at the correct score. If a question is left bank that no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

Marks obtained in the online mains examination will be considered for the final merit list.

  • Visit the official website www.ibps.in and click on the homepage to open the link CRP clerks
  • Then click on the option. Click here to apply online for CRP – clerks.
  • Click on “Click here for new registration”
  • Fill the basic information in the online application form
  • Candidate should note down the provisional registration number and password
  • An email and SMS indicating the provisional registration number and password will also be sent to the candidate’s registered email or contact number.
  • Candidates are required to upload their

  • Left thumb thumb impression
  • A handwritten declaration
  • Candidates will also be required to capture and upload their photograph through WebCam or mobile phone during the registration process.

Please note that the above procedure is the only valid procedure for applying no other mode of application or incomplete steps will be accepted and such application will be rejected by the IBPS.
